Bolschoye Goloustnoye
The village of Bolschoye Goloustnoye is over 300 years old. It is a typical Siberian village with the population over 1000, the biggest part of which are Buryats. The main occupation of local residents is fishing and hunting, as there are no other jobs there.

Tourists like visiting the village because of the possibility to have a look at everyday life of local people and to meet Buryat culture by listening to the choir of old Buryat women or speaking to the local historian Dora Alexeyevna about history and rich traditions of Bolschoye Goloustnoye. Or you can visit a small bakery where one bakes in accordance with old recipes in a "Russian oven" to look at the process and not at least to try fresh baked bread.
