The Museum of Siberian Log Architecture is situated in a very beautiful place on the bank of the Angara River between Irkutsk and Listvyanka. A lot of old buildings of different kinds were brought here from many settlements of East Siberia. When you come here you get the feeling, you were in an ancient Siberian village. Walking around it you can go into the houses and see how people lived centuries ago. You also can find here a water-mill, a church, a chapel, a fortress wall with a watchtower, a village inn and even a school.
