Listvyanka
Listvyanka lies on the Western shore of Baikal at the outlet of the Angara River, about 73 km from Irkutsk. It is quite a big village with around 2000 inhabitants. Both the marvelous situation and the nearness to Irkutsk make Listvyanka very attractive for the tourists. It is the oldest Russian settlement on Baikal with lots of beautiful traditional wooden houses and an old authentic church St. Nicolas. Listvyanka develop nowadays in a largest tourist spot on Baikal. The Baikal museum is also worth visiting.
